Encounter

Once upon a time, there were two TALL brothers. The older brother was named Toby, and the younger was named Craig. They went out for a LONG LONELY walk one night. They lived near a DARK SCARY field and a SMALL grove of trees. While walking through the SCARY field, a BRIGHT light shined upon them! Craig said “It’s the good Lord calling us up to heaven!” then Toby said “That aint the good Lord Craig, that’s an alien mothership!” They looked at each other and screamed as they ASCENDED towards the light. They closed their eyes; the light was too BRIGHT to see anything. When they re-opened them, they were in the ship. Both of them were sitting down next to each other. Toby reached foreword and got zapped. Apparently they were in some sort of INVISIBLE cage! There were two stereotypical looking GREEN aliens standing off to the side chatting. The aliens looked HAPPILY at Toby. They came over and pulled him out of the cage. They laid him down on a COLD table. The aliens pulled out what looked to be a LONG probe! Craig said “oh no, they are not going to probe my brother.” Toby just laid there screaming, there was nothing else he could do. Craig looked in his cage and found what looked to be a SHARP alien wrench. He threw it at the INVISIBLE cage. There was a LOUD sound; did it work? Or did the SHARP wrench get VAPORIZED? Craig had to try it for his brother’s sake. He closed his eyes and ran foreword. It would appear that the wrench did it! Toby was still tied down. Craig said “alright you aliens, its time to go back where you came from!” The aliens looked at each other. It was apparent that they did not understand what Craig had said. There was an AWKWARD silence for a moment. Finally, Craig grabbed the SHARP wrench that had been thrown through the invisible cage and threw it at the aliens. It hit one in the head; it made a weird MECHANICAL sort of sound, but appeared to kill him. Craig then ran at the other alien. They alien said something then ran at Craig. They fought for a little bit and Craig eventually killed him. Craig pressed some buttons on the COLD table that Toby was strapped too, and released him. Toby had been drugged and couldn’t say much besides; “thank you.” Craig tried to help Toby out of the ship when he noticed that the alien he had just killed was no alien at all. In fact, it was a robot. Craig and Toby looked at each other. Toby said “If those were just robots, then what do the aliens look like?” About that time a LARGE shadow covered them!

Character Obituary

Craig Gary Covers April 23, 1990-January 2, 2053. Craig was born in Indianapolis, IN. He died in Plainfield, IN. A drunk driver while leaving the Metropolis Mall’s parking lot hit him. He had gone to the mall to pick up the cologne that he had worn for the past 45 years. He had gotten married and had a family with the love of his life. Craig leaves behind a wife of 42 years and 4 children. His children: Craig II (35), Adeline (32), Gary (29) and Lilly (13), all miss him dearly. Craig II and Adeline have graduated college and have successful jobs, while Gary started a freelance lawn mowing company when he was 12, and still works there. Lilly (the little surprise) is only an 8th grader at Center Grove. Craig has two brothers, Toby (older) and Duke (younger). Craig achieved many of his life goals. He graduated college with a Bachelors degree in Video and Sound Production. After working for a “Stan’s Productions” for 13 years, Craig had saved up enough money to open his dream company: C.G.C Productions. His company was a huge success and he worked there until he died. He has enough money in the bank to support his family for he next 759 years (the experts said). They had a very traditional funeral. Craig and his wife were Christians and raised all of their kids that way. All around Craig had a very happy life and was close with his family the whole time. He was especially close to his little brother Duke.
